Amidst swirling rumors of an extended version, recent reports validate that the digital release will be a few minutes longer than its theatrical counterpart, creating a wave of excitement among fans.
Initially running at 3 hours and 21 minutes, 'Animal' will now showcase an additional 8 minutes, extending the overall runtime to 3 hours and 29 minutes. Sources suggest that this extended cut will include a new scene with lead actress Rashmika Mandanna, bringing a fresh perspective to the storyline.
Whispers about the extended version gained momentum after director Sandeep Reddy Vanga acknowledged its existence in a recent interview. He revealed plans to incorporate scenes left out from the theatrical release, expressing regret over the initial cuts. Vanga hinted at a more comprehensive storytelling experience for the audience, stating, "Now, I will be using those 5-6 minutes extra."
